Lemmer
Lemmer is a beautiful spot, but with limited good wind directions.

Lemmer is a small kitesurfing spot, suitable for southwest winds and only for experienced kitesurfers. The bay is surrounded by stone dams, the water gets deep after about 20 meters, and there are large stones on the bottom. Due to the limited space, it quickly gets crowded.
The beach is a recreational area, popular with families and walkers. Kitesurfing is prohibited in summer, and the beach contains some obstacles. Stay clear of this area.
Kitesurfing is only permitted from October to May. Outside this period, it is strictly forbidden. The police will take immediate action in case of violation.
Avoid offshore winds (east), as the wind is unstable then and drifting out onto the IJsselmeer is dangerous.
